iPhone 3G S Plans on Telstra Leaked

Earlier tonight a fine young fellow decided to eMail me a bunch of PDFs that look like they’ve come from Telstra. Digging into them I’ve finally been able to grab some further info on what Telstra has to offer for the new iPhone 3GS.

Telstra will be offering the iPhone in both cap plans and normal plans:

The above plans do not include data, data must be purchased as part of a “Browsing Pack”.
Data costs as follows:

$5 a month data pack – 5MB download – $1.00 per excess MB.
$10 a month data pack – 150MB download – $0.50 per excess MB.
$29 a month data pack – 300MB download – $0.35 per excess MB.
$59 a month data pack – 1GB download – $0.25 per excess MB.
$89 a month data pack – 5GB download – $0.25 per excess MB.
$119 a month data pack – 9GB download – $0.25 per excess MB.

The iPhone is also being offered as an outright purchase. Prices are as follows:

Apple iPhone 3G 8GB – $718
Apple iPhone 3G 16GB (black or white) – $880
Apple iPhone 3G 32GB (blak or white) – $1042

Once again, I have no idea if this is legit, but the plans are bound to appear on the net any day now given Friday is JesusPhone day.

I aint even sure that you can trust this information I would rather wait to see the office pricing release from Telsra regarding the Iphone 3GS
  • I'm 95% certain that this info is legit. It came with a bunch of rather long documents that would have taken days to forge. The only possibility that these are wrong is if Telstra came up with these plans then change their minds later on.
  • I guess only time will tell. I am not convinced that it correct pricing or that Telstra will have this information out for staff to access to stop this from happening. But who really understands what Telstra does or does not do. I hope that it is wrong and the pricing is less then the above prices.

    Are Telstra retarded?

Or are the people who will choose these plans the ones that are retarded?
  • or rich.

If cost wasn't an option, I'd go Telstra for the iPhone - the service reliability on the other carriers is a joke. Sad to say, but you cant get a better network in OZ other than the big T.
  • And once again Telstra fucks their market share... Good to see.
