The two feeble lives of that grum guy
So some of you have heard that I’ve gone and done something stupid – I’ve found myself again working in an office for some giant faceless corporation. I guess it had to happen – working online was always a difficult task of juggling one’s beliefs with one’s bank balance. Thankfully I haven’t crossed the invisible lines I drew myself and managed to accomplish what I originally set out to do several months ago.
The role isn’t anything special, but it falls under what I consider very important – a workplace with a solid reputation, a regular salary, the ability to forget everything work related as soon as I log off and a job description that I could do with my hands tied behind my back.
Unfortunately that means that I once again will have to love a double life – my work life will not interfere with my online life.
The reason why I’m writing this blog post is to ask nicely that if you happen to know where I work or what I do, keep it to yourself. I did it once before quite successfully and now I’ve got to do it again, however with a whole bunch of new hurdles that didn’t exist in the past.
Hopefully if all things go according to plan, this will lead to things bigger and brighter and will be able to offer the perfect balance between work and play that I’ve been craving for the last two decades.
Fingers crossed that it all works out unlike last time.
- love, hugs and kisses, your pal grum.
